Dr. Machemer is a Pediatrician and founder of Waldorf Pediatrics. She has been practicing in Pediatrics since graduating from University of Illinois at Chicago School of Medicine in 1997. She went to University of Minnesota for Pediatric residency. At Duke University, she completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (blood diseases and cancer). Outside the office, she enjoys ballet and being with her husband and two children.
Kristi Machemer, MD, FAAP
 Nadia Wedderburn is a native of Miami, Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at Florida International University, and obtained a Master of Science in nursing from Walden University in 2019 with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner. Nadia is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion in pediatrics. She takes pleasure in spending quality time to educate her patients and families about their condition and developing a plan of care for optimum health. Her clinical background has afforded her the opportunity to serve patients in the telemetry unit, emergency department, intensive care, and instruct as a diabetes educator. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three children.

Ashley Walker-Smith, FNP
Ashley Walker-Smith is a Family Nurse Practitioner who joined our practice in 2020. She graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelorís Degree in Nursing in 2013. At OU Medical System in Oklahoma City, Ashley worked in adult cardiac and transplant care, womenís health and newborn transition care. She then went on to earn her Masterís Degree in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2019. Outside the office, Ashley likes to travel abroad and spend time with her family and friends.
Meghan Seaman is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who joined the practice in 2020. She was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. She graduated in 2015 with her BSN from Mount Saint Mary College. Following graduation, she worked as a registered nurse in the NICU for 5 years, first in New York City and then at Childrenís National in Washington, D.C. She completed her MSN at Stony Brook University in 2020. She has a passion for pediatrics and takes pride in the impact she has on her patients. Outside the office, Meghan enjoys taking Orange Theory classes and running. She also enjoys traveling, the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
